The A1 telecom group has long been a partner of the Austrian Ski Federation. Since 2004 it has also been the main sponsor of the Alpine skiing team and a premium partner of the legendary Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel.
WWP has been working in a full communicative role with Austria's leading mobile telephone operator since 1998. Hence, on a yearly basis integrated sponsorship strategies for A1 have been developed; moreover WWP is responsible for the concept, implementation and monitoring of all rights, as well as activation of the different channels of communication (ATL & BTL). This has assisted A1 to attain an exemplary position in winter sports.
In the summer season, A1 is title sponsor of the A1 Beach Volleyball Grand Slam in Klagenfurt. With more than 100,000 spectators on the ground, the Grand Slam is the highlight of the World Tour and popular with players and spectators alike. In the past decade the A1 Beach Volleyball Grand Slam has developed to become one of the biggest sporting and social events in Austria. The sponsorship involvement is rounded off by A1 with its premium partnership with the Red Bull Football Club, Salzburg.
Hence A1 is present on all top sponsorship platforms in Austria.

WWP was able to win the tender offer for the A1 ÖSV Campaign 2011/12 in cooperation with the long-term Creative Partner Schueller&Heise. TV Spot and Print.
With the requirements of the current A1 Campaign Design, the Stop Motion format, the ÖSV Stars put the theme Pace/ Giant Speed this year on scene. Therefore Marlies Schild, Anna Fenninger and Klaus Kröll whizz down the slope with giant speed equipped with a cell phone, mobile broadband and tablet of A1 and outrun their Colleague Marcel Hirscher.
Despite the absolute Physical Shape the Shooting has been a special challenge: “I was on skies all day long and had to pose for around 360 pictures. “In contrast a training day seems like a Sunday walk”, says Marcel Hirscher.”this has been very exhausting.”
